Samsung will be releasing its landmark mobile galaxy S8 & S8+ from 21st April 2017 in United States and from 29th April 2017 worldwide. The company is banking on the success of S8 after the blunder of Note 7 which resulted in loss of $ 5 billion to its accounts. So the stakes are high and we will see how the consumers will respond to the trust deficit caused by those exploding batteries of Note 7. Also launch of Samsung S8 before iPhone 8 is an effort to capture the market before the launch of apple flagship cellular phone iPhone8.
The new phone S8 comes with 5.8 inch screen and S8+ comes with 6.2 inch screen. It curves beautifully around the edges and is very slim. It also has longer ratio making it perfect for watching movies & videos contents on your phone. The Samsung Galaxy S8/S8+ are powered by Qualcomm’s latest flagship processor – the Snapdragon 835 in the U.S, Japan and China and the 3GHz Exynos 8895 processor in other regions alongside 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage expandable via a microSD card (up to 2TB).
The only difference between the two smart phones is their display and battery sizes. The Galaxy S8 comes with 3,000mAh battery, while the Galaxy S8+ features a bigger 3,500mAh battery. Another feature Bixby is the Samsung answer to Apple’s Siri & Google Assistant. All the functions which you can do through touch screen can be performed by Bixby using your voice.
